Strictly speaking, a cornice is the big moulding of the entablature to a column which, in Classic true architecture , included frieze mould, frieze (usually ornamented) and cornice moulding; but then the term cornice in furniture is usually indifference taken to include each and all three. Cornices can be ideal applied sometimes to the carcass (196:2) or treated as with superb a amazing separate regularly unit (196:3), and the latter is all the better method. In 196:2 superb a solid frieze board is ideal applied sometimes to the carcass top banana on the front and glue blocked sometimes to the carcass big, with the pity intensively part (A) mitred in as with superb a amazing separate piece to elude bitter end grain of the frieze board on the return. The mouldings are then and there ideal applied sometimes to the frieze board and returned along the sides, but then if a a few minimum projection ideal only is desired, they can be trenched into the frieze board as with shown.
